High Voltage Capacitors
Maxwell is the internationally recognized manufacturer of high voltage capacitors for the field of electrical networks. At the beginning, it was called Condensateurs Fribourg (1943). Over the years, the company would also be known under the names Condis, Montana and Maxwell. Currently, the company has reverted to its name CONDIS. The 100% Swiss property designs and manufactures the capacitors at its Rossens factory.
The current cooperation between CONDIS and Atelier AHR began in 2004 with the development of a new application on air core reactor, and now includes the entire range of high voltage capacitors, either for voltage distribution, coupling, gas insulated substations (GIS), capacitive voltage dividers, and other special applications, for example for testing and high voltage laboratories.
